This operation carried out in two phases:
Phase 1
Flooding with treated water while the pipeline is ROV inspected to locate the point of break in the pipeline. Fluorescent dye facilitating locates the leaking point by ROV.
Phase 2
Upon completion of repair of the pipeline, phase 2 started which includes flooding/preservation of the pipeline by chemically treated seawater followed by pressure test of the pipeline to ensure its integrity.
